The story
The roots of the Hlip family – Hlipovi go back into the year 1888, when Ignac Sirk, otherwise known as Nac, moved from Višnjevik to Biljana and married Marija Markočič. Together they started cultivating the land that they inherited from Marija’s father. Hlip’s Nac was succeeded by his son Anton and then Franc, who had five children in his marriage to Marija. The farm was taken over by his third born child Peter, who continued his father’s and his grandfather’s tradition of cultivating the vineyards and producing wine.

Peter handed over his vocation to his son Marko, who today not only cultivates the land, but also lives for it. Marko increased the size of the farm to thirteen hectares of arable land, vineyards and orchards, which he takes care of together with his wife Nataša. Their son Miha brings youth and freshness to the work in the vineyard and the wine cellar.
